Procurement procedure for provision of expert services for „Plan Bothnia” project announced

Latvian State Regional Development Agency has announced procurement procedure for the provision of expert services for „Plan Bothnia” project, for study on “Region-wide recommendations on minimum requirements for MSP systems”.

We are looking for two experts: 1) Expert for development of minimum requirements for maritime spatial planning systems and 2) Expert for identification of maritime spatial planning best practices in the Baltic Sea region and other European Union maritime regions.

Applicants shall submit a tender to the Documentation Section of the State Regional Development Agency (1st floor), Elizabetes street 19, Riga, Latvia until 23 May 2011, 14:00 (local time).

The “Plan Bothnia” project aims to initiate, test and evaluate the added value of a cross-sectoral, transboundary and ecosystem based Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) process in the Baltic Sea using offshore Bothnian Sea as a case study area. The project is co-financed by EU Commission DG MARE under European Integrated Maritime Policy.
