Call for project applications open for Interreg Baltic Sea Region

Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme soon will launch a 3rd Call for application until April 2018. The third call for projects is open for all three Programme priorities: capacity for innovation, management of natural resources and sustainable transport, and for all specific objectives under these priorities. The call will have a specific focus on increasing institutional capacities of public authorities in all levels of governance. All applying projects are expected to include public authorities with a relevant role in their partnerships.

In this respect VASAB as Horizontal Action “Spatial Planning” coordinator within the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region encourages to prepare project applications in relation to spatial planning topicalities within the EUSBSR and contribution to the "VASAB Long-Term Perspective for the Territorial Development of the Baltic Sea Region till 2030" implementation.

More information about Horizontal Action "Spatial Planning" and its task "Encouraging the use of maritime and land-based spatial planning in all member states around the Baltic sea and develop a common approach for cross-border cooperation" can be found here.

In case of interest to become EUSBSR Flagship project of Horizontal Action “Spatial Planning”, please, read the Procedure of granting support letters to the potential flagship projects.
